A traditional slogan of the Cistercian monks is "Porta patet, cor magus" – The door is open, but the heart even more so.
World-famous Eberbach Abbey is once again opening its gates and doors to us for our workshop, “Operational Excellence.” Although no longer an active monastery, the facility continues to reflect in impressive manner the nearly 700 years of its Cistercian period. All of the major buildings erected since its founding in 1136 are still completely intact. Located in the heart of Germany’s picturesque Rheingau region, which explodes with color during the grape harvest in October, Eberbach Abbey and its impressive structures from the 12th to the 14th centuries are among the most important works of Middle Ages architecture in Hesse.
